Here in Upendo every thing is running ok as usual. The kids in ucc have been speaking English, it's quite easier for them to communicate with volunteers now. We hope they will be much more better as days go on. Yesterday we had birthday party at my place and the guests of honour invited were the Upendo children and the staff. Alice had also invited five more kids from our neighbouring. The occasion was very nice as all the kids sung .happy birth day to my daughter. every body really enjoyed coz the weather was so good and we really had enough time for playing football and hide and seek

On Monday we went to the children office for registration follow up, we also went to the police for the good conduct certificate of which its along process we also visited the carpenter coz she wanted to pay for the closets for the kids where they can lock there personal things and toys. Later at about 4pm we visited positive children.s home about 15 km from Nyeri town.

On Tuesday we went to the grave of the scout's founder with the big children and to a local museum, that day the children had lunch in town. On Wednesday we visited new life children.s home and to the dco again.

On Thursday we went to the hospital to see the social worker and later we went to Ayubs place in Othaya about 20km from Nyeri town Jackson junior was with us we brought the grand mother a food package. She welcomed us with pleasure and we were happy to see she takes good care of other Ayubs siblings although she is in her ripe ages.
