Last week we got a call from DCO office asking as to assist another girl aged 12 years who's an orphan and was staying with her old grand parents. According to teachers and area chief.s report, the girl was vulnerable. Her grand parents are daily drunkards and are both irresponsible. They think the grand father or his drinking friends who always pip in their home can rape her. The girl says sometime she goes for days without food since the grand mother can't do it when she's high. After just one day another phone call from the same office. There was a small girl about 3 or 4 whose both parents were put to jail for an offence of torturing her. The court ruled that she committed to Upendo until their finish their sentence in jail.

We were in a position to go to Aberdare national park with two kids. We have also managed to visit some children.s homes with food packages and also some poor families including Ayubs place where we went with Ayubs him self. The family was very happy to see one of their own although at first they had dull faces I think they thought we had decided to give him back to them.
