We are really doing fine here in Nyeri although it's winter the temperatures goes to even 18C it's very cold especially yesterday and today everybody has to wear heavy jackets.

In the house almost every body has a cold starting with Carol, but we have two strong boys who are resistant Naftali and Jackson. At first the small kids got ill but later all the big ones. Small Kevin has some rushes all over the body but Alice has taken him to hospital today.

Johan our new volunteer arrived safely on 23rd of July, after 24hours delay and I was there waiting for him. He.s truly a good man, he really likes children and he.s helping them a lot in the house, he.s also helping Carol in the kitchen. He has bought a lot in the house after showing him the list of item needed in the house, like cooker, indoor swing, a pram ( to carry kids in the streets, courts, hospital etc ) some kids mattresses games for the kids, more kids chairs, and also some other kitchen items. He attended one of t he board meeting where he was welcomed officially and the program was made for the two weeks. He was very happy about every thing. He.s also learning Africans songs from our big kids.

The schools are being closed next Friday and we have planned some several activities to keep the kids busy. One of the things to do this holiday is to go for a hike at Nyeri hill if the weather will favour us and a lot of visits to my parents place where we intend to plant each a tree. We might also visit some of our kids relatives and also the Aberdare.s national park.

We have bought the computer and the printer which are in the office right now. The office looks very decent now.
